Love the first design for today!
If I was making though I would add a little insert inside the row of lattice blocks around the outside.
I like the second design, but nowhere near as much as the first one.

Neat and tidy. I wonder what fabric choices others would make, and how many different colours could be used without it becoming a collection of scraps.
I like the almost blank blocks … Space to play with quilting designs. There is actually space to play with quilting designs in the first design too.

Love it. I would piece this by hand, but a lot of people would paper piece by machine.
The quilting design I would use is to simply use the pieced block outline, even for the pieces not used in many of the blocks.
Love this one too.

I like the first design, but as usual I spotted a change I would make as soon as I opened it. Seeing changes I think might work are how I keep adding to the collection of designs I have to show here every day. The centre block could be changed to make a fifth open space to add some interesting quilting or applique.
I like the second design too. Plenty of space to add some interesting quilting.

I like mixing up blocks with similar features, as in the design above the links that tie them together, except for 4 of them.
Love the second design with uniform one way links.

The colours look old fashioned, but the block designs are new, and are part of a growing collection which started with one diagonal square design with a star, with five different corners. There are now about ten corners, along with three variations on the square.
I will share the sampler quilts when I have mixed all the centres with all the corners.
I also want to add some quilting motifs to fill in those blank spaces!
